Personal Information & Accounts: We do not collect any personal information (such as your name, email address, or phone number). We do not require you to create an account, and we do not store any user data on our servers.

Usage Data and Crash Reports: SonicHop operates locally between your PC and Android device. We do not collect any telemetry data, and we do not collect any crash reports. Your audio stream is never intercepted, monitored, or recorded by us.

2. Data Deletion

Because we do not create accounts, collect personal information, or store any user data on our servers, there is no personal data to delete. You can simply uninstall the application to remove it from your device.

3. App Permissions We Use and Why

To provide its core functionality, the SonicHop Android application requires certain permissions:

• Network & Internet (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Required to discover and route audio traffic between your PC and Android device over your local Wi-Fi network.
• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE): Required when using the "Microphone Server" feature to capture your device's microphone input and stream it to your PC.
• Screen Recording / Media Projection (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PROJECTION): Required when using the "Device Audio Capture" feature to capture internal system audio and stream it to your PC.
• Background Services & Notifications (FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK, POST_NOTIFICATIONS, WAKE_LOCK): Required to keep the audio stream running smoothly in the background when you switch apps or lock your screen, and to show a persistent notification so you can easily stop the service.
• Bluetooth (BLUETOOTH, BLUETOOTH_ADMIN, BLUETOOTH_CONNECT): Required to seamlessly support streaming audio to and from connected Bluetooth devices.
• Storage (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required for saving necessary configuration files or temporary logs locally on your device.
• Advertising ID (AD_ID): Required by the Google AdMob and Unity Ads SDKs to serve advertisements within the app.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties, as we do not collect it in the first place.

5. Data Security

Since SonicHop routes your audio traffic entirely locally over your own Wi-Fi network, your audio data never leaves your local network and is inherently secure from external servers.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Software is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
